Blue book value of a camper

Blue book value of a camper

Today with gas prices and other everyday expenditure so high, it's hard to own a camper. Not only are they gas consume but they take quiet a bit of preservation and maintenance, at least if you don't want to be trapped on the side of the road. Because of this rising trend many need to or are eager to sell their campers and thus need the blue book value of a camper.

The blue book value of a camper is clearly important as it will most definitely be the price an owner will get if they sell their vehicle. Kelly Blue Book is where the blue book value of a camper comes from and is the source for which a used vehicle's sales price also come from. In the end, the used price you see or pay for any automobile is commonly set by the blue book and it has been this way from the early stages of the automobile production, almost a century ago.

With that said it is a pain to get the blue book value of a camper from Kelly Blue Book. Searching for "camper" or "rv" only sends you to another site entirely; a site where it says in plain text that they discontinued the publishing of their related price listings for RVs. However, despite this it is not entirely impossible to receive a copy of this listing. If you did search "camper" on the Kelly Blue Book site you'll now be on a page for motor homes and other large vehicles. If you didn't do the search click here. Clicking on the place order button will allow you to order a copy of their price guide which includes motor homes, vans, and yes the blue book value of a camper.

The problem with this is of course money must be spent to obtain the guide. Not to mention most owners just want the value of their camper and not all the used motor vehicles that the guide supplies. Certainly this is a value to an rv dealer but not to the individual camper owner. And, unfortunately, because of this motor home owners are just going to have to do things the hard way and shop around. Call your local dealers and ask what they'd be willing to pay. Get various prices from the area and make the best financial decision for you. It's too bad that the blue book value of a camper is readily available online like other vehicle pricing databases. This just makes it harder for individual owners of campers to sell for the blue book value of a camper. Hopefully, those feeling the heat of gas prices can still find the best price to sell their motor home.
